Westport Real Estate Market Update, September
Hi Westport homeowners! I am here with the September market update (all data through August). Just as it’s been happening for the last couple of years, our Market is super strong. We only have 3.6 months supply of inventory, and as you know six months or less is a seller’s market, so we’re strong in the throes of a seller’s market. Just this past week, we had 109 active homes, we had 7 new homes come on the market, we had 9 accept an offer, and had 15 close. So basically we had way more go off the market then come on, and that is continuing in our market. In addition, Travel + Leisure magazine rated Westport as the most expensive town with the highest median sales price of anywhere else in Connecticut, and I was surprised: I thought that would be Greenwich but no, we surpassed Greenwich in the median sales price (I’m sure not the case with the average). Our market is super strong, and if you’ve had any thoughts of selling or you need a home equity checkup, I’d love to chat with you so call, text, or email me.
